Experienced Java Developer

About the Role


We are now looking for an Experienced back-end (Java) developer with excellent knowledge in back end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby and most especially Java. At least 5 years experience is needed for this role for one of our important clients. The work will be performed 100 percent on-site within a cross-functional team. This role will require cooperation with other teams. Good Interpersonal skills, high confidence, great leadership skills and good communication skills for managing a team as well as stakeholders is required for this role.


Responsibilities

-Ability to work with databases excellently (designing, maintaining as well as implementation of databases).
-Excellent coding skills (either of Node.js, Python, Ruby or Java). Java proficiency will be given the highest preference.
-Excellent in writing clean code as well as reviewing code.
-Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).

Required skills and experiences 


-Minimum of 5 years back-end development experience.

-Excellent coding skills (either of Node.js, Python, Ruby or Java). Java proficiency will be given the highest preference.
-Solid understanding of DevOps and DataOps practices.
-Great hands-on experience with Linux.

-Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)

-Excellent in writing clean code as well as reviewing code.
-Familiar with container technology such as dockers and Kubernetes
-Knowledge of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, OPCUA or AMQP).
-Strong experience in debugging, profiling and optimising code.
-Strong analytic capabilities.
-Experience in front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular).
-Masters degree or higher in software engineering, computer science or any other relevant discipline.
-Good verbal and written English communication skills. Swedish proficiency can also be beneficial.
-Ability to work independently or within a team.


Important to have

-Swedish Citizenship or any NATO country citizenship.
